Plot

Life Is Beautiful is a black comedy-drama film directed and played by Roberto Benigni, a famous Italian director and comedian. The film is set during the time that German fascists killed the Jews. In order to prevent his kid from getting hurt by war, a father conceals their true situation from his son and explains to him that the camp is a complicated game in which he should finish the tasks his father gives him. They can earn points in those tasks and whoever gets to one thousand points first will win a tank. Later after growing up, the son realizes that father sacrificed himself for his beautiful life.
